How to buy Silver and Gold Without Fear

Question: What is the best way to buy silver and gold?

Answer: eliminating fear from the decision process as you will learn in this article.

The world is on fire, inflation is on the rise, shelves are less and less full even with higher prices and the dollar is at one of the weakest points as all currencies are falling.

This would be a great line if I was trying to sell you a product like silver or gold. Fear-based marketing” influences the audiences' psychology and urges them to take action to minimize that fear. This is a traditional communication method that has been used by organizations for years to push the community into changing perceptions, abandoning old habits, or converting into new consumer behaviors.

The problem is fear destroys freedom and fear-based marketing often takes freedom of choice and replaces it with anxiety, stress, and false hoods. Below you will find out today how to effectively stack your metals in a way that is fear free and based on freedom.

Every sector of humanity has problems, you know it and I know it. One effective way to help remove a problem is to be able to objectively look at an issue and be able to create ideas freely without emotions attached. This is a higher level of logos or logic and is most effective.

Today we are going to talk about one of the biggest problems in our area of stacking which is actions based on fear. I need to start off by saying, I love stackers and this is not an attack on any stacker but rather an observation of the marketing from a human psychology and marketing standpoint. This is just observational and has led me to want to help our community in any way possible.

We need to start by defining the enemy so we better can recognize it when it is front of us. So, what is fear? Fear is defined as 1a: an unpleasant often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger. I repeat, an unpleasant often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger. There are so many strong words we need to break down here so we can self-reflect on our own actions to decide if fear is a strong motivator.

As you see here the last part of the sentence seems to be the genesis of fear…as in fear is caused by the anticipation or awareness of danger. So, danger is what we have to identify and the motivator we must perceive in order to dictate action.

What is something that is dangerous? Let’s say a tiger. Tigers are dangerous. If you were at your mailbox and a you spotted a tiger, that danger you perceive leads to an emotional response. Your level of composure in that moment leads to a collection of possible outcomes. The more composed you are, the clearer you can think your way out of the circumstance.

This is the biggest benefit of things like martial arts. They provide confidence and composure at a level that provides you with a better ratio of success and also separates our most animalistic response which would be running triggering the tiger.

The reality of composure is in preparation. One of the best defeaters of fear is preparation. This is where stacking of metals correctly is of great benefit. Preparation is one of our best tools but, is almost impossible to define when it comes to metals, as the end game of knowing exactly how much one needs is variable as we have never been in a place where individual owners of metals had to in mass live off of their stack. This is undefined and unregulated territory and anyone proclaiming to have the answer is just speaking from perception and not history.

When it comes to your personal income, what is the tiger or danger that is the primal reason you stack? Is it the inflation? Is it the world scenarios being played out? The uncertain future? No matter what the reason, there are a multitude of stackers where danger is involved in the equation of their stacking journey and is still providing them with fear, creating emotional responses that never seem to be quenched.

This is evident when you feel drawn to religiously follow gold and silver spot prices and feel anxious when you lost an opportunity to buy or sell. It is hard to blame yourself though as you can turn on any major news network for a day and get a heaping spoonful of fear-based advertising for gold and silver.

There are metal advertisements everywhere that say national debt is on the rise, the dollar is weak, that you need all of your money moved to a silver and gold backed IRA but you should only consider the company they speak for. Fear is pushed again and again, and again. If gold and silver was so marketable, you would not need advertisements to sell it, and you definitely would not need fear to be a motivator in marketing.

The crazy part is, many stackers and investors love fear-based marketing because it can, in their minds drive many to purchase the same commodity which increases demand and dollars. If many of these financial gurus gets to a point where their dreams come true and silver gets to let’s say $100 an ounce, history tells us they will deviate from silver in a giant sell off, flooding the market and leaving you with tones of silver and gold at a value that makes you question your life decisions.

So how do we take fear out of the equation and still stack metals? The answer is simple and yet very complex at the same time, as our goal is the same but our “why” has to change. We have to first off eliminate fear from the equation. Notice I did not say danger. Fear is a manifestation of the mind whereas danger is something we cannot often control.

Remember our tiger and how it leads to fear based response? Let’s imagine our tiger, except this time, he is in a zoo exhibit. You recognize that this is a dangerous animal but you do not have fear. There are many elements of the tiger’s exhibit that lead you to a psychological place where not only do you enjoy looking at a dangerous animal like the tiger, but you paid money to get into the zoo for observations of things that could be dangerous, because you see beauty in them. This is the key to freedom in a way.

When you can recognize beauty in things that are perceived dangerous, fear tends to fall away. Fear has led to and still leads to more violence and sins of humanity than any other emotion. It is the tool of the wicked. It has led to genocide and crusades. The understanding of all things being beautiful and created in the same image leads to the dissipation of fear so much that we can even enjoy the presence of our perceived enemies. This is where freedom is derived. The idea that your best friend and your opponent do not know a different version of yourself. That your actions are based on internal choices of contemplated ethics and not external forces like fear.

So if you want to stack metal with a clear mind and a logical approach based on composure, you must rethink your mindset on stacking to an approach that leads to the recognition of beauty and even gives way to utter enjoyment. This is the exact reason I identify myself as a collector and not a stacker. Each ounce provides me with overwhelming joy while also providing me with security. I am not seeking the security but it is a great bonus to my love for metals. I have fallen in love with the various themes, histories, and cultures present in my collection which provide me so much more value than an ounce of silver.

If times do lead to a place where metals are an exponential benefit to life, I will be covered. And more importantly, if they don’t, I will still have so much enjoyment and love for my collection. Fear is never part of my purchasing and danger is not evident in the process so every purchase is clear of mind.

Sure, there are some months where I pay more for ounces and many stackers would not be buying, but that is where a budget comes in. Having a monthly budget frees me from an anxiousness of trying to time markets.

If you are a stacker, and you are emotionally attached to some pieces in your collection, they you are exhibiting signs of a collector. It is completely ok to be a little bit of both and I would actually challenge you, next time you purchase metals to incorporate a little bit of collector and stacker transactions. Buy your 10 oz bar and find a coin, round or bar that you always wanted from a beauty stand point. You will see it differently and it will always bring you joy which is something our world could use a little more of.

As you can see, stacking can be very rewarding if fear is not a part of the equation and there are subtle beauties recognized in areas of danger. My advice to you is to be able to define your “why” you stack or collect and recognize your actions based out of enjoyment or preparation and not fear.
