US Mint Making BIG Moves
For years, the US Mint has been stagnant in regards to its bullion program. We have the traditional American Silver and Gold Eagles and some classic medals but that seemed to be the norm for decades. Recently, the US Mint re-issued the classic Morgan and Peace dollars in bullion form which was a fantastic move for the collector market. There have been some bobbles with it comes to the logistics of these new arrivals but overall the Morgan and Peace dollars have been such a welcomed sight.
A new chapter is being written according to press recently released by the US Mint in regards to both bullion and clad options in a upcoming series slated for 2026. In the video below, we discuss the news. It is a welcomed sight and a fresh step but there are some dramatic shortcomings. Overall the future is bright as this key first step could open the door to the US Mint finally reaching the diversity of themes seen in other world mints like the Royal Canadian Mint, Perth Mint and KOMSCO (a South Korean mint with fantastic coins).
