Rounds and Bars
Bars, rounds, and other types of silver are typically collected as assets to add metal weight to a stack, however there are many awesome designs that you should be aware of as a collector.

Bars
Bars come in so many sizes and designs. Some of the collectors favorites are manufactured by the PAMP Suisse, Scottsdale, Geiger, 9fine and other awesome mints. There are even markets for vintage art bars that would have been minted with images of products of seasons. One of the great vintage bars to get is a numbered Engelhard like the picture above.

Rounds
Rounds are like bars…They are not minted by a government entity as tender but often mimic classic coins of the past. Most rounds follow the weight of one Troy Ounce just like many bullion coins but have much more dramatic designs overall. Some of the really cool rounds are minted by APMEX, Scottsdale, 9Fine, Engelhard, Germania, and Sunshine mints.

Junk Silver
Maybe your addiction to collecting silver involves anything you can get your hands on. If that is the case, there are places like APMEX and other online retailers that you can buy junk and industrial silver. Often times this junk silver is referred to silver that only has value based on weight and purity of silver. These could be old warn war nickels or maybe a peace dollar in damaged condition just to give you examples.
